Smokey & Spicy is a food-first celebration of Caribbean grill culture, bringing together hand-selected chefs, restaurants, and caterers for one bold day of live-fire competition. No shortcuts. No compromises. Authentic Caribbean grilling, the way it was meant to be done.
Beyond the competition, immerse yourself in traditional Caribbean games like dominoes and ludi, soak in the sounds of the islands, and sample eats, sweets, and drinks rooted in culture and community.

Join us for our annual Easter egg hunt on Sunday April 5th. Find an egg hidden somewhere in the market and bring it to the office for a chocolate surprise!
Come early before they’re gone (one per person).

Celebrate Mexican culture with us on Sunday, May 3rd. Live music, cultural activities, workshops and some complimentary snacks and beverages.

RESET SOCIETY OF CALGARY ANNUAL BOOK SALE
Drop off your gently used books: April 10th – 22nd.
Book Sale: April 30th – May 3rd & May 8th – 10th.
The Calgary Book Sale is back for it’s 22nd year, and we will be having TWO Book Sale Weekends! Come and shop our selection of 100,000+ books (and our special books section). With a fresh inventory of books on the shelves each day, you are sure to find something you will love. This event is our largest fundraising event of the year, and truly does make an impact in the lives of the women and children at RESET.
KIDS COLOURING
Ongoing during market hours
There will be kids coloring sheets and pencil crayons or wax crayons available for kids to use here at the market. These can be found in the kids area in the food hall as well as outside the market office.
